The meaning behing our Logo

The Inukshuk is a creation of the Inuit people who have throughout their history used these stone monuments as landmarks to guide them across the barren Canadian Arctic tundra.

Inukshuk means "something which acts for or performs the function of a human" and these landmarks would have been a welcome and hopeful sight to a traveler on the desolate Arctic landscape. Normally signaling a route for safe travel these rugged stone figures have now come to symbolize the best in human nature – collaboration and team work which helps to guide a fellow traveler safely on a successful journey.

The Inukshuk provokes a sense that we are not alone, that someone has gone before us and has left a hopeful and reassuring beacon to guide us to a successful conclusion to our journey.
